Home made nut butter – how do we make ours?

We decided to coax a nutritious paste ground from carefully selected nuts. One that will be delicious, but above all natural. Flavor enhancers, preservatives, sugar, palm oil? That wasn’t an option. We wanted our butter to be able to find its way into the diet of an athlete, the menu of a healthy diet and the pantry of any mom wanting to give her child something healthy for breakfast. So the condition we set for ourselves was a butter ground from 100% nuts. With the shortest possible composition, but the longest possible list of valuable vitamins and substances needed in a daily healthy diet.

Every single grinding writes its own story. An employee takes care and watches over all stages of production, so we produce a maximum of 50 pieces at a time. After grinding, another check of the taste and quality of the butter takes place. Nothing that we are not 100% satisfied with is allowed to leave our small factory. Our butters are one of a kind. We don’t aim for quantity, because we care mainly about taste and, consequently, the satisfaction of our consumers.

It’s a fat precipitation process that is perfectly normal. All you have to do is stir it. This will allow the fat from the nuts to reach the very bottom of the package, and the peanut butter will have a truly creamy and very smooth texture.
Therefore, should pistachio butter be stored in the refrigerator? No, there is no need to do so. The paste can be successfully stored at room temperature. Ideally, it should stand in a place where the temperature is similar all the time, so in a cupboard or kitchen drawer, since sunlight does not reach there. These are the optimal conditions for storing homemade peanut butter. However, if the peanut cream is stored in the refrigerator, its consistency will change from liquid to solid. Then remember to take it out of the refrigerator 10 minutes before using it, so that its temperature has time to rise a bit.
